With FIFA 21 released soon in less than one month yet, EA Sports reports the best 100 players for the new game. Here let’s share the stories of top 10 players.
Notwithstanding being disrupted, the season of 2019/20 was still one of the recently most exciting football campaigns, with the five best leagues in Europe bringing dramatic or incredible stories: Liverpool finally won their first league title in thirty years, Real Madrid defeated Barcelona in La Liga, Juventus won in Serie A once again, while Bayern Munich took the Treble crown, including the 6th Champions League. The ratings in FIFA 21 also reflect the performance of their players well, Liverpool’s three players ranked among the Top 10 —Sadio Mane (90), Mohamed Salah (90) and Virgil van Dijk (90) . No. 10 Sadio Mane (90)
Sadio Mane, born in Sedhiou in April 1992, started his club career at a Senegalese football academy Académie Génération Foot. After joining in the French Club Metz in 2011, Mane made his first debut in the game against Bastia in Ligue 2 in January 2012 at his 20 years old. In that summer, he was transferred to Austrian Bundesliga side Red Bull Salzburg by quite a big fee thanks to his excellent performance in his first league season and great potential. And during the Austrian Cup in 2013, Mane got his first hat-trick for the club in a 3–1 away win at Kalsdorf.
In September 2014, Mane moved to Premier League side Southampton by a 4- year contract; during the season of 2014-15, especially the last home match, Mane scored treble just in 2 minutes 56 seconds, breaking the record for the fastest hat-trick in the Premier League, and finally won Aston Villa by 6-1.
On June 28, 2016, Mane transferred to Premier League club Liverpool by the fee of 34 million pounds, which could be the most expensive African player ever in history at that time. In the whole season of 2016-17, he has made 29 performances, scoring 13 goals and assisting 7 goals, and successfully got the award of the Liverpool Player of the Season although he had to end the campaign due to injury. In 2018-19 season, he scored 22 goals to get the Premier League Golden Boot award together with Salah and Arsenal's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, and also helped Liverpool to win in the 2019 UEFA Champions League Final.
Mane scored twice in the 2019 UEFA Super Cup final against Chelsea in a match that Liverpool won 5–4 on penalties. He was named in the 30-man shortlist for the 2019 Ballon d'Or and ranked 4th just behind Lionel Messi, Virgil van Dijk and Cristiano Ronaldo. By extremely fast speed, high intensity, and tactical awareness, Mane could stand as a world-class winger.

While in FIFA 20, Sadio Mane was ranked 28th with an overall of 88, but this Senegalese winger’s contribution to Liverpool’s Premier League will surely bring him a deserved rise up the rankings in FIFA 21.
